Career Quest Raises Money for Junior Achievement

Lansing, MI (March 20, 2015) – The Career Quest Learning Center campus in Jackson raised nearly $200 for Junior Achievement (JA) of the Michigan Edge, by participating in the organization’s annual Crazy Bowl event, held February 20-21, 2015.

The money raise will help JA with its mission to empower young people to own their own economic success.

“It’s a great organization for us to support since it aligns so well with our own mission to help our students be successful in the career of their choice,” explained Amber Deel, president of the Career Quest campus in Jackson.

Since 1995, Career Quest has implemented its mission to provide students with the skills required for employment and/or career advancement, by educating and training them with the equipment and technology found in the current workplace.

“I was working in a factory for 13 years when I got laid off. I needed to do something totally different and I started at Career Quest. Now I’m teaching here. I love it. “

“I’m enrolled at Career Quest so I can be better at the job I have now. I’ve learned how to recognize health symptoms before they turn into a health care crisis. More knowledge means I help my patients lead the best lives possible.”
