Lansing Campus to Host Immunization Clinic for Students

Career Quest Learning Centers is hosting an immunization clinic for students on the Lansing campus on Tuesday, September 15. Immunizations are required for all allied health students doing externships, and campus management wants to make it as convenient as possible for students to meet this requirement.

The clinic will be run by the Ingham County Health Department and will provide all immunizations needed for externship (Hep B series, MMR series, Tdap, Flu and TB test). There will be low costs for students (insurance is also accepted), but the prices are at or lower than the health department. The immunization clinics will take place on the campus on a recurring basis.

Students and staff members will also be able to get a flu shot during the clinic. “We’re doing what we can to keep everyone healthy,” explained Career Quest Campus President Melissa Soderberg.

Students interested in learning more about their educational options, should call the Career Quest admissions offices at Jackson 877-365-8144 or Lansing 877-481-4930.

Since 1995, Career Quest has implemented its mission to provide students with the skills required for employment and/or career advancement, by educating and training them with the equipment and technology found in the current workplace.

“Now I like going to work.”

“I was very computer illiterate until I came here. By the end of the first week of my externship, I had letters of recommendation waiting for me."
