Elijah Elliott Named Student of the Month for Lansing Campus

Elijah Elliot was selected as the November Student of the Month for the Career Quest Learning Center campus in Lansing. Elliott takes initiative implementing ideas to assist other students in overcoming obstacles.

He is also a valuable member of the Peer Mentoring program, offering students guidance – even if they are not in the same program. “We are proud to have him here as a Career Quest student,” said Career Quest President Melissa Soderberg. “We look forward to seeing all of the success that Elijah will achieve. He has an awesome sense of humor and a positive attitude.”

Students interested in learning more about their educational options, should call the Career Quest admissions offices at Lansing 877-481-4930 / Jackson 877-365-8144.

Since 1995, Career Quest has implemented its mission to provide students with the skills required for employment and/or career advancement, by educating and training them with the equipment and technology found in the current workplace.

“I am a completely different person than when I started my program. I have so much more confidence now. I really think I can do anything if I put my mind to it. Before I started here, I wasn’t very happy with my life. Now I’m smiling all the time.”

“I’m enrolled at Career Quest so I can be better at the job I have now. I’ve learned how to recognize health symptoms before they turn into a health care crisis. More knowledge means I help my patients lead the best lives possible.”
