Career Quest Hosting Student Portfolio Workshop August 23

Jackson, Mich. (August 1, 2016) – Career Quest Learning Center’s (CQLC) Career Services Department is hosting a free Portfolio Workshop for students on its Jackson campus on Tuesday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m.

At the workshop, career services specialists will work with CQLC students to create, update and/or fine-tune the documents necessary for a professional portfolio. These could include resumes, reference pages, cover letters and thank you notes.

Those interested in attending, should contact CQLC Director of Career Services Michelle Hier. “Our mission is built around preparing students for the workplace,” Hier explained. “This is one of the last steps toward helping them find fulfilling jobs.”
