Flowers for Mom!

The Career Quest Learning Center in Jackson (209 E. Washington Ave., Suite 241) is hosting a free Mother’s Day planning event for the community from noon to 2:00 on Friday, May 12, 2017.

Students, faculty and members of the community are invited to celebrate their special someones by planting a flower and/or making them cards in honor of Mother’s Day, May 14.

“We know that none of us can do what we do without the support of our families,” said CQLC Jackson Campus Manager Megan Conard. “This is just a small way that we can say thank you.”

Since 1995, Career Quest has implemented its mission to provide students with the skills required for employment and/or career advancement, by educating and training them with the equipment and technology found in the current workplace. For more information, visit http://www.careerquest.edu.

“I tried community college and it was not for me; I was just overwhelmed. I learn better in small groups. At Career Quest, it was almost like a family. Everyone’s willing to help one another and the teachers are awesome. I’ll be sad to leave!”
