Career Quest Learning Centers is hosting a free PC Clinic from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, on the Jackson campus located at 209 E. Washington Ave., Suite 241.
Students and members of the public are invited to drop off their computers (laptops, tablets and mobile), beginning at 10 a.m., with students in the Career Quest IT Program. The students will help with a variety of computer issues, including virus scans, defragmenting, Internet issues, cleaning of browsers, firmware & software updates and free security reviews. They’ll also provide laptop screen replacement.
The Career Quest students can work on most Windows or Apple-based operating systems, but they are unable to work on Windows XP, iOS or Android phones and tablets. Customers will be responsible for the cost of any repair parts, if needed.
The event is free and open to the public. All questions should be directed to IT Instructor Jeremy Leik at email@example.com.
