Richard Smedley Named Lansing Student of the Month

Medical Assistant student Richard Smedley has been named Lansing’s May Student of the Month, for his willingness to give his time and resources to help others.

“Richard is such a conscientious student, always helping others, learning proficiencies quickly and correctly, and always adhering to dress code,” said Lansing Campus Manager Mollie Woodworth. “Richard is a genuinely kind person. He came to Career Quest to gain a career, and there is no question he will thrive in the medical field as he does our classrooms.”

“My grandson is in third grade. I’m proud that I can be an example to him. I have pride in what I’ve been able to accomplish – Career Quest has given me all that and then some.”

“This program is good because it’s daily, it doesn’t give you time for slack. There is also lots of hands-on help, you’re not just left to do it all on your own. I was in college before and it just didn’t work out. Career Quest worked for me.”
