Thomas Kirkwood Named Lansing Student of the Month

Billing & Coding student Thomas Kirkwood has been named Lansing’s June Student of the Month, for conducting himself in a professional manner and always being willing to assist his fellow classmates.

“Thomas takes a lot of pride in his education, and he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to medical terminology and procedures,” said Lansing Campus Manager Mollie Woodworth. “He is truly a delight to have in class. We wish him the best of luck as he finishes out the last few weeks of his program.”

“I was very computer illiterate until I came here. By the end of the first week of my externship, I had letters of recommendation waiting for me."

“I tried community college and it was not for me; I was just overwhelmed. I learn better in small groups. At Career Quest, it was almost like a family. Everyone’s willing to help one another and the teachers are awesome. I’ll be sad to leave!”
