It’s That Time Again: Trunk or Treat at Career Quest

Girls dressed for Halloween Trunk or Treat in Michigan

Come join our annual Trunk or Treat Event at Career Quest Learning Centers. This fun Halloween event is always a great time for our students, faculty, staff, and their families. The kids love it! But so do the adults in the crowd.

What is it?

We hold the event in the school at our Jackson campus and in the parking lot at Lansing.  It’s a lot like regular trick-or-treating, but instead of carting the kids off to neighborhoods, we recreate the experience using decked out cars and costumed participants. Goodies are given away from car trunks or our classrooms. We also have a DJ, bounce house, face painting, activities and prizes, and refreshments.

According to Lansing Campus Director Mollie Woodworth, the event isn’t just about Halloween. It’s more about building a sense of community and giving back to the community, as all are welcome to attend. But another reason is to open the campuses up to families.

“Especially for the children, they know mom or dad goes to school somewhere,” says Mollie, “so seeing exactly where that is while they have some fun is a great opportunity.”

Mollie noted that in addition to activities specifically for the kiddos, the school is open for tours. Anyone is welcome to check out the facilities, take a tour, and learn about Career Quest Learning Center programs.

“We also acknowledge that parents are sometimes here when their children want to go trick-or-treating at home. This makes sure no one misses out on the experience,” says Mollie.

When is it?

The event will be held on Thursday, October 26, from 4:30pm-6:30pm. The public is welcome. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at Lansing at 877-481-4930 or Jackson at 877-365-8144.
