October Students of the Month

LANSING: Martha Porter is a Medical Billing & Coding student who is extremely dedicated to her studies and can often be seen working in the media center. She has maintained academic excellence throughout her program, along with having great attendance. “She has volunteered for several campus events and is a shining example of what all Career Quest students strive to be,” said Lansing Campus President Mollie Woodworth. “And that’s why she is the November Student of the Month!”

JACKSON: Clara Olszewski is part of the Jackson Medical Assistant program and the definition of a great student. She’s always on time to class and turns in assignments early and of great quality. She uses her class time wisely, is very efficient with proficiencies, and is always willing to ask questions when clarity is needed. “She has a positive attitude and always strives for great grades,” said Jackson Campus President Elizabeth Kirchmeier. “Clara spends time after class working on project with Student Association and she’s a pleasure to have on campus.”

Mt. PLEASANT: Kelsey Boulier’s time with us is coming to an end, since she is only two mods away from receiving her certification as a Registered Medical Assistant from Mt. Pleasant. She has continued to excel academically and has made the President’s List several times. “Kelsey’s hard work and dedication does not stop at her school work,” said Mt. Pleasant Campus President Shelby Dalgleish. “If classes are about to start and Kelsey is cutting it close you can guarantee she’ll come running through the doors to be to class on time!”

BAY CITY: Bethany Visser is one of our most dedicated Medical Assistant students in Bay City. Always dependable, she has attended each campus event we’ve held and consistently lends a helping hand. “It’s been a pleasure watching her grow and develop her confidence through her time here,” said Bay City Campus President Cassie Ferrer. “She has a heart as big as her smile, and we’ve been lucky to have her as part of our Bay City CQ family. Thanks for being you, Bethany!”

SUCCESS STORY

“Before Career Quest, I had a job but I just wasn’t going anywhere. I was scared but I decided to give it a shot.  Now I’m the Secretary of the Student Council and ready to graduate!”
