I decided to go to school so that I knew my son would have a secured future.
Student Feature: Meet Heather C.

Heather C. is a graduate of Career Quests Medical Assistant program, and decided to push her credentialing even further, now earning her Medical Office Administration AAS degree. Previously out of the job market for 13 years while raising her son, Heathers passion for helping others is what sparked her motivation to go back to school for a career in healthcare. “I love helping others and seen an ad on Instagram, and that’s where it all started. I absolutely loved my first day. Sure, I was scared and nervous. I am older, so that was intimidating as well,” she says. “However, that was not the case.
From the minute I walked in, I felt welcomed. A real at home experience.” While we will be sad to see students like Heather gone from our classroom, Career Quest is honored to provide training to hundreds of entry-level medical professionals each year to filter them into our communities. “I’m sad to leave, but so glad I made this move. It has opened so many doors. I never have to depend on anyone because I have two pieces of paper to show. I’m so proud of this journey,” says Heather. Career Quest is so proud of you, too!
