Chad Morgan

Like many Career Quest students, Chad wanted to improve his life and that of his family. Working 40 hours a week as a cook and with a young daughter, he knew that he needed more education to get ahead. He learned about Career Quest from a friend who had graduated from the Information Technology program. Chad was impressed at how much his friend knew about computers, even networking.
“I was able to keep my day job and take classes at night – so the schedule was perfect for me, “ Chad says.
“The IT program at Career Quest is intense, but once you complete it, you think better of yourself. The networking classes here would be 18 weeks somewhere else. I wanted to get a lot of education in a short amount of time.”
Chad used the Career Services support to help him put his best foot forward. Career Services helped him with cover letters, thank you letters, and mock interviews. He also put together a professional portfolio. “I have all my certificates in my portfolio. It has my resume my cover letter, my transcripts, my certificate and even my record of perfect attendance. It just looks really good.”
Chad’s advice to other students: “If you’ve got motivation, you can do it. But it’s up to you to ask for help. If you do, I can guarantee it will be there for you.”

“This program is good because it’s daily, it doesn’t give you time for slack. There is also lots of hands-on help, you’re not just left to do it all on your own. I was in college before and it just didn’t work out. Career Quest worked for me.”


Career Quest has been such a great experience for me. From staff to students, I have gained some awesome people in my life. I am forever grateful.
