Mary Stucko

Employer, Career Quest fan

Mary Stucko knows how well prepared Career Quest graduates are — she’s worked with them for four years.

As a multi-line agent for an insurance company and member of the Career Quest advisory committee, Mary always appreciates good help and a good attitude. Perhaps that’s why she has had many Career Quest students complete their externships in her office, and has even hired three of them. “I find that the externs coming to me are very well prepared but it’s also the attitude that they need. They’re helpful, they work well with others, and they’ve been wonderful.”

Mary’s advice to potential students: “If anyone’s looking to get into an office setting, this is a great start because you can get all those basic computer skills that employers are looking for, and get well trained in it. When you start a job, you’ll know exactly what to do.”

SUCCESS STORY

“I’m enrolled at Career Quest so I can be better at the job I have now. I’ve learned how to recognize health symptoms before they turn into a health care crisis. More knowledge means I help my patients lead the best lives possible.”

SUCCESS STORY

“I was very computer illiterate until I came here. By the end of the first week of my externship, I had letters of recommendation waiting for me."
